Pieces of Me Photo Campaign
Quincey Nelson Staff Reporter The Pieces Of Me is a photo campaign that happened on Thursday, April 23. The goal of the campaign wants to show the world that everyone is human and our differences make us that way. “[The] Pieces Of Me campaign is raising awareness of bullying through photography, it is a way to show those around you that you are human and you have differences,” said Heather Goodrich, an adviser of Stand for the Silent and the teacher running the event. The event was held after school in the auditorium from 3:15-5:00 pm. Any student or staff member could join in and participate in the event. Pictures were taken of those participating. They created a label of what they think of themselves for the picture to express that other people don’t make their labels, they make the labels for who they are.
