Quincey Nelson Staff Reporter The yearbook is taking club photos on Thursday, April 15 in the auditorium. “It gets a lot of people included in the yearbook so people who don’t do lots of actives can still get in through that, and people will know about the clubs we have,” said Renee Stohr. Every period a selected amount of clubs will be selected to go at certain times during the period. “We mostly try to include every club at the high school. [We don’t include them] f it’s a club that only one or two people are in or they ask not to be [included,] otherwise we try to include every single club,” said Stohr. If any students are having their club picture taken make sure to know what time and period the club is going at. Times can be found on posters around the school “It’s frustrating when clubs show up late because every 5 minutes a new club will come in and it’s running all day so if people show up late they don’t get to be in the picture and that sucks,” said Stohr. “All...

Quincey Nelson Staff Reporter              The Pieces Of Me is a photo campaign that happened on Thursday, April 23. The goal of the campaign wants to show the world that everyone is human and our differences make us that way. “[The] Pieces Of Me campaign is raising awareness of bullying through photography, it is a way to show those around you that you are human and you have differences,” said Heather Goodrich, an adviser of Stand for the Silent and the teacher running the event. The event was held after school in the auditorium from 3:15-5:00 pm. Any student or staff member could join in and participate in the event. Pictures were taken of those participating. They created a label of what they think of themselves for the picture to express that other people don’t make their labels, they make the labels for who they are.             Any person that participated needed to sign a photo release form so ...

Quincey Nelson Staff Reporter The student lost and found has now been moved to the end of the lunch hallway by the custodial offices. If anyone has left anything at all or lost something it will now be located here. Coats, bags, shoes, boots, etc. will be placed in the new area of the lost and found. “Anything valuable will go to the front office,” said high school facility manager Joe Sullivan. Any glasses or jewelry will be held in the front office instead, but retainers or medical items will be held in the nurse’s office. “Just check as soon as you can because sometimes items will get taken or used and don't get returned. Don’t wait a week or two. Do it as soon as you can,” said Sullivan. All of the items that are found and not claimed by March 20 are being donated so anyone who has lost anything will need to check for their items before then.
