Bowling Signups and Tryouts

Anyone can sign up for bowling. Tryouts are November 10 and

Any Southeast Polk students interested in becoming a part of the bowling team should attend the sign-up meeting next week on Tuesday, October 27th in room N363 before and after school hours. Tryouts for the team are November 10th and Thursday, November 12th at the Premiere Bowling Lanes in Pleasant Hill. Students that plan on attending should have their physicals and concussion forms up to date by next week.
            The Boys’ Varsity and Boys’ JV Bowling team will have their first meet at 3:45 at Merle Hay Lanes on Monday, November 23. Their opponent will be Des Moines North. Girls’ Varsity and Girls’ JV also have a meet on Monday, November 23 at 3:45 also at Merle Hay Lanes against Des Moines North.
            Junior Abbie Lane is very excited to try out for the bowling team this year. Abbie has played many sports over the years but this will be her first year of bowling.
“I am so excited and I really hope that I make the team because everyone I’ve ever talked to that was in bowling has really enjoyed it. Sports is a great way to make new friends and be a part of something fun,” said Lane.

These aren’t just ordinary sticky notes, on every single sticky note there is an inspirational quote to start your day.                 During spring break, students that are a part of stand for the silent got together and made a sticky note for every single locker in this school. Jessica Rish  News Editor The meninist twitter account has been notorious for  putting out hateful content on  twitter regarding social justices like, gender, sexuality, race amongst other thing    Twitter is one of the biggest platform used in the social justice world.
