On October 23, 2015 the pop punk band Five Seconds of Summer released their second album, Sounds Good Feels Good.
The album consists of 16 tracks that give off a different vibe than their 1st album.
In early 2015 the Australian band flew to Los Angeles to start developing the album with producer John Feldmann according to the Sounds Good Feels Good Wikipedia page.
The album sounds a lot different than the last one. Sounds Good Feels Good gives off a more mature and developed sound compared to the last album.
Awarding the album four stars at Alternative Press, Maria Sherman states, "The band have a real responsibility to the consumer, and Sounds Good Feels Good delivers...It's 5SOS' attempt to find community in their new sound and those who support it, a concept that lives both on the record and well outside of it. It's a strong sentiment: follow them and you might find something to relate to. That's a powerful thing."
My personal favorite songs on the album are Vapor which was written by lead guitarist and vocals Michael Clifford, rhythm guitarist and lead singer Luke Hemmings, bassist and vocals Calum Hood, drummer and vocals Ashton Irwin and producer John Feldmann. The song has angst but still remains acceptable to be played on pop stations.
The band also collaborated with many other musicians. Previously, the band collaborated with Benji and Joel Madden from the Madden Brothers and Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low. For this record the band stepped up their game and collaborated with musicians such as Chuck Comeau and front man Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan, Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 and even the London Symphony Orchestra.

If anyone is interested in listening to the album you can order it on iTunes, listen to it on Spotify, or buy a copy at Target.
