USA Out at the Friday Night Football Game

  Fall comes with many festivities and Friday night football games are one of the biggest one and Southeast Polk does Fridays like no other. Southeast Polk has had three football games this season and on September 11th we played Valley.
            At the game on Friday the theme was “USA Out.” Junior, Jenna Phothiboupha, goes all out on Fridays.
            “I like to follow the themes of the game because it’s fun and it shows I have school spirit,” said Phothiboupha
 The past themes for games have been beach out and USA Out.
“America out has been my favorite theme so far because a little boy came up to me and tugged on my dress of lady liberty and said “I like your outfit lady” and I said replied with thank you kind fellow,” said Phothiboupha.
Phothiboupha is not the only one who likes to go all out for football games.
       "After the beach out game I saw a lot of people copping me, because I painted my face,” said Phothiboupha.

These aren’t just ordinary sticky notes, on every single sticky note there is an inspirational quote to start your day.                 During spring break, students that are a part of stand for the silent got together and made a sticky note for every single locker in this school. Jessica Rish  News Editor The meninist twitter account has been notorious for  putting out hateful content on  twitter regarding social justices like, gender, sexuality, race amongst other thing    Twitter is one of the biggest platform used in the social justice world. Twitter famous social justice accounts dedicate their feed through the use of hashtags, retweets, and tweet threads to educate and inform others on social issues.     Twitter does a good job of supplying a multimedia platform for educating thousands of people and raising awareness with the click of a button, but there is one main problem that can  often be seen  in social justice Twitter: “Dragging” or hateful conduct, can even be considered bullying or attacking/harassment.
